In page 15 is a photo taken in the 1930s at a factory of Renault, a major automobile manufacturer in France. In the picture there is only one woman, wearing a dark dress in the centre walking towards the entrance. Around 50, she perhaps has a diploma for elementary school teaching and briefly worked as a teacher in the countryside before moving to Paris for the growing car industry. She has worked for more than a decade as a typist in Renault, which sustained the Great Depression.
