In page 14 is a photo taken before the civil war in 2011, of tourists visiting the amphitheatre of the Roman city of Leptis Magna in Libya for an article about the tourism trade fair in Berlin where sightseeing in Libya was promoted. Libya has been a rare destination for tourists. In the picture, this small group of tourists, perhaps from London including an architect, a doctor, a retired professor, an investment banker and a lawyer, may spend 2 days in Leptis Magna and 2 days in Tripoli and Sabratha. Amazed by the view, the middle-aged doctor in the centre, turns his head to his wife behind him to complain about her decision not bringing their children along for a good experience of the country and the people.
