This photograph of a random street scene in the Kibera slum in Nairobi, Kenya was taken by Francesco Zizola on a sunny day. The slum is dusty under the baking sun. Walking down the street, a woman could be on her way to visit a close relative as she specially decorates herself with a large piece of patterned fabric, not only to shield off the dust and the hot sun but more to decorate herself at best in spite of her poverty.
