Mrs. Kanbayashi is at the lower left corner of this photo, and is on a hiking trip with first grade Elementary School students. The students were talking enthusiastically about how cute the little ghosts were in the cartoon Obake’s Q-Taro which had recently been broadcast on television. The brother of the girl at the left, with her back towards the camera, was a fan of Fujiko Fujio. He would never miss a single issue of the Weekly Shōnen Sunday. His sister had had the chance to read the cartoon series previously and felt that her brother was just like Q-Taro, who only liked eating, sleeping and playing. Even their fear of dogs was the same. She actually preferred another character P-ko to Q-Taro. Because of this she liked to wear plaid dresses like P-ko did.
這是神林女士小學一年級時的遠足旅行照，左下角的女孩就是她。同學們正在熱烈地 談論最近播出的卡通片集《Q 太郎》，裡面的小鬼都好可愛。相中左邊背向鏡頭的女 孩的哥哥是藤子不二雄迷，他總是一期不落地追看《週刊少年 Sunday》，所以她早 已看過《Q 太郎》的漫畫連載了。她哥哥的性情像足 Q 太郎，只愛吃、睡和玩，就 連怕狗這一點也是一樣的。相較於 Q 太郎，她其實更喜歡 P 子這角色，所以愛上穿 格子布的裙子。

写真の左下の女の子が子供時代の神林さんであり、これは小学 1 年生のハイキング の際に撮られたものである。彼女たちは、当時放送されていたオバケの Q 太郎に出 てくる小さなオバケの可愛さについて必死に話し合っている。カメラに背を向けて いる左端の少女の兄は藤子不二雄のファンだった。どんなときでも週刊少年サンデ ーを買い逃すことはなかったおかげで、彼女もそれを読むことができた。食べるこ と、寝ること、遊ぶことが好きな兄を見ていると、彼のことがまるで Q 太郎のよう に思われて仕方なかった。犬が怖いというのも、またそっくりだった。実は彼女は Q 太郎よりも P 子のほうが好きだった。だから P 子のような格子縞の服を好んで着 たのだった。
