This photo was taken when the Akinari Elementary School was on a graduation trip to the Mt. Yahiko area. The person in the photo is Mr. Yamagishi, Mrs. Kanbayashi’s teacher when she was in primary six. This is the moment when they gathered in the parking lot in front of the Yahiko Shrine before walking to the Yahiko Kanko Ropeways’ Sanroku Station. The male student, who was standing on the left wearing an armband, is a member of the organizing committee for this trip. His role was to maintain order and to ensure that all the students arrived at the ropeway station on time.

この写真は、秋成小学校の卒業旅行で行われた弥彦山への登山のときに撮られた一 枚である。写真の人物は山岸先生といい、神林さんが小学 6 年生のときのクラス担 任である。ちょうどこのとき、弥彦神社の前に集合して、弥彦観光ロープウェイの 山麓駅に歩いて向かおうとしていた。写真の左側にいる腕章をつけた男子生徒は、 この修学旅行の運営係の一人だった。生徒たちがルールを守り、時間通りにロープ ウェイの駅に集合するように監督することが、この日の彼の役割だった。
