This photo previously belonged to Mr. Ishizawa’s mother. She was once a member of the Textile Workers Association. This photo was taken when she travelled to Kujiranami Beach with her work colleagues. Mr. Ishizawa’s mother is on the right. The Ryokan Takaoka in the back of the photo was a small hotel which only operated in the summer. Apart from hotel services, the ryokan would also rent facilities to day trippers so they could use them as a place to change and relax. The man on the left of the photo had bought his family here to swim. His children had left their swimming suits in the car, so he had rushed back for them and was now passing them to his wife, who was already inside the ryokan.
這曾是石沢先生母親的藏相，她當時是「織物勞動組合」(織布業工會)的成員。這是 她與同事一次到鯨波海灘遊玩時的合影，石沢母站在相中右邊。他們身後的「高岡屋 旅館」只在夏天營業，除了經營旅館服務，同時又會租給當天往返的泳客作更衣和休 息室用。相片左邊的男人也是帶着家人來這邊游泳，孩子把泳衣留在車上了。所以他 剛回車子跑了一趟，把取來的衣服遞給屋內的妻子。

この写真は石沢さんの母が所有していたものである。彼女はかつて繊維労働者組合 の一員だった。同僚と鯨波海水浴場に旅行に行った際にこの写真は撮られた。右端 にいるのが石沢さんの母だ。背景にある高岡旅館は夏季限定のこじんまりとした旅 館である。宿泊客以外でも使えるように、着替え場所や休憩所として開放している。 写真の左側の男性もその一人で、家族を海水浴に連れてきた。子供たちが水着を車 の中に忘れてきてしまったので、それを取って戻ってきた彼は旅館のなかにいる妻 にそれを手渡そうとしている。
