After the hard work required to organise the Tanabata Festival, which as a neighbourhood event required the collaboration and contributions of many people, the.neighbours from the Endoji Shopping Street themselves in the pool at a holiday resort in Irago. The man at the centre of the photo is a Toyota mechanic and an amateur photographer. His parents ran a small shop in Endoji and he helped out whenever he had time. He had planned to go and shoot Cape Irago Lighthouse today which he had photographed for many times in different seasons. However today was too hot and after a short walk he decided to return to the hotel and relax.

七夕まつりの準備に奔走した円頓寺商店街の人々は、伊良湖のリゾート地にあるプールでリフレッシュした。この旅行は、円頓寺商店街の人々が一緒にイベントを成し遂げた、その成功を祝うための団体旅行だった。写真の中央に写っている男性は、トヨタの技術者であり、さらにはアマチュアの写真家だ。彼の両親は円頓寺で小さな店を経営しており、彼は暇さえあれば両親を手伝っていた。彼は季節ごとに何度もここの写真を撮っていたので、今回は伊良湖岬灯台を撮影しに行こうと考えていた。しかしながら、とても暑かったので、少しだけ歩いた後、プールでゆっくりするためにホテルへ戻ることにした。
