This photo was taken when Mr. Moriguchi visited Ueno Zoo in Tokyo during his Junior High School graduation trip. It was late afternoon; a couple was standing in front of the elephant enclosure. The man was a mid-level clerk in an import/export trading company. He had been introduced to his girlfriend who was standing next to him by his friend from university. The couple had now been dating for almost a year. As both of them shared a love for animals Ueno Zoo had became the perfect location for their dates. They had heard from the news that the Asian elephant Indira had fled her enclosure at the Zoo. Fortunately the elephant keeper had rushed from his bed and returned Indira to her enclosure safely. They had come to visit her to see if she was fine.
這照片是森口先生在國中畢業旅行時，於東京上野動物園拍攝的。時間已接近黃昏， 大象圈前站着一對情侶。男的是出入口企業的中層職員，身旁的女朋友是大學同學介 紹認識的，拍拖已快一年了。兩人都熱愛動物，所以上野動物園自然就成為他們的約 會勝地。此前，新聞報導說亞洲大象英迪拉從上野動物園的操場逃離，幸好管理員從 床上衝出來把英迪拉拖回象舍。這次他們特別要來看看大象是否安然無恙。

この写真は、中学校の卒業旅行のとき、森口さんが上野動物園を訪れたときに撮った 一枚である。午後の遅い時間だった。一組のカップルが象の囲いの前に立っていた。 男性は貿易会社の中堅社員。大学時代の友人の紹介で、彼の隣にいる女性と知り合う ことになった。二人の関係はおよそ一年になる。どちらも動物が大好きで、上野動物 園は二人のデートにぴったりの場所だった。ある日インディラという雌のアジア象 が、上野動物園の囲いから逃げ出したというニュースを二人は耳にした。幸いにも、 象の飼育係が急いでやってきて、安全に元の場所へ象を連れ戻したという。彼らは、 インディラが元気にやっているかどうかを確かめにやって来たのだった。
