On 9 October 1972, a 17-year-old girl and her 10-year-old brother were arrested for planting a fake bomb with an old clock in a Yau Tong housing estate, East Kowloon. They admitted to acting without political motives, intending only to frighten a watchman who had scolded them for playing in the corridor.
