Produced at the 10th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to Mainland China, it is one of the six photographs of the sky shot on the rooftop of the artist’s studio and was signed in ink on the surface as “Liang Zhihe”, the artist’s name pronounced in Mandarin, against its official spelling which is based on his own Cantonese dialect.
