On December 8, 1969 at 269A Hennessy Road, a young man was robbed by two men on his way home in a lift before dawn. He tried to resist but was knocked out and lost a watch and all cash. His neighbours only found him unconscious later in the lift and reported to the police to have him sent to the hospital.
